Rogaine

Topical Hair Loss TreatmentStudies show that at 48 weeks of use, Rogaine® hair loss medication stabilizes hair loss in over 70% of men and approximately 80% of women. Generic minoxidil is available in a 2% and 5% solution, but name brand Rogaine makes 5% foam which seems to be less drying and irritating to the scalp as well as easier and less messy to apply.

Unlike Propecia, Rogaine doesn't inhibit DHT to stop the cause of hair loss, but has been shown to help stimulate hair growth when applied topically twice a day.

If you would like to learn more about Rogaine® topical hair loss treatment and find out if it can work for you, the staff of Ziering Medical would be pleased to supply you with the information you need.

Rogaine® is not for everyone, and it may be only a part of the topical hair loss treatment we eventually recommend.
